Our Tia Maria leadership team is pictured left to right. Ramon Santana is on the left. Edgar Soria is center and Cynthia Linares is on the right.
After working for decades at our sister bakery, Ramon Santana was excited to flex his baking skills when Tia Maria opened in 2018. He’s truly enjoyed developing the Mexican-inspired baked goods of Tia Maria. His commitment to quality is evident each time a new guest discovers Tia Maria and tries the conchas for the first time. Guests often rave these conchas are fresh and fluffy. Ramon takes great pride in baking the Rosca de Reyes each year to be savored by families throughout Sonoma County. He was also the one to use orange peels when crafting the Pan de Muerto recipe for Tia Maria. Every day, Ramon manages his team for the best quality and consistency.
Edgar Soria joined the team in 2023 to offer leadership for our cake team and craft mind-blowing custom cakes. Guests can enjoy his Cuatro Leches (better than Tres Leches!) year round in a Cajeta or Mocha flavor. Seasonally, Edgar’s team spotlights fresh flavors. For example, the Strawberry Cuatro Leches is a seasonal favorite. Through the decades in Edgar’s career he has served the celebrities of Los Angeles to conquer their lavish cake requests and won various baking competitions within Sonoma County. He is most proud of crafting custom cakes from your wildest dreams.
Cynthia Linares was an essential member of our team from the start. In fact, she started working at Tia Maria when we opened. Eventually, she worked her way up to the manager role and now serves as the Tia Maria ambassador for the community.

Chef Jorge joined the Tia Maria team in 2022 after his tenure at Campo Fina. His team creates all the sandwiches and salads available in our cold case. Shortly after Chef joined the team, he created the Breakfast Burrito which quickly became a Sonoma County favorite.
