Tia Maria Meet the Makers Culinary Series  

Meet the Maker series running through December 2025 encourages guests to visit Tia Maria, for a four-part series showcasing the individuals who are responsible for infusing their heritage in the items they hand craft for Tia Maria’s guests. Guests who attend can sample and learn about the inspiration behind the recipes of every day and seasonal items at Tia Maria. This is a free, drop-in event, and no registration is required.

  • Saturday, October 25 | 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Head Baker Ramon Santana to demo the making of his version of Pan de Muerto and Pumpkin Conchas.
  • Thursday, November 6 | 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Chef Jorge Flores to make and sample his new sandwich additions.
  • Saturday, November 22 | 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Pastry Chef Edgar Soria Cake decorating demonstration and unlocking the mystery of Cuatro Leches vs. Tres Leches.
  • Saturday, December 13 | 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Head Baker Ramon Santana to demo the making of Rosca de Reyes and share the meanings behind product look and use.

We are proud to share Cynthia Linares has taken on a new role within our company. You can still see her here at Tia Maria while she tackles her new opportunity at our offices in Santa Rosa part of the week. After 7 years in the family at Tia Maria, Cynthia is working on business-to-business outreach to expand the distribution of the Tia Maria portfolio of products. Please join us in congratulating Cynthia in her new role as the Tia Maria Ambassador. We are thrilled she is representing Tia Maria in the community as a panelist at Roseland University Prep, at neighborhood clean ups and more.
